Pas facile de réserver son hébergement quand on ne connaît pas forcément sa prochaine destination et la vie de quartier. Sur Kayak (encore), pour réserver son hôtel, on peut facilement repérer les quartiers populaires pour le tourisme, restauration, shopping et vie nocturne. Il suffit de cliquer sur une des catégories pour que la carte mette en évidence les endroits populaires avec des zones froides à chaudes. Bluffant, visuel et pratique ! Côté institutionnel, on pourrait imaginer aussi des choses intéressantes en croisant pourquoi pas les données issues de Flux vision sur la fréquentation touristique ?

Un jour je serai le meilleur dresseur !

Ne voyez aucune allusion saugrenue dans cette maxime de Sacha du Bourg-Palette, le héros de la saga Pokémon. On parle beaucoup du célèbre manga depuis le lancement de Pokémon Go, une application mobile de jeu basée essentiellement sur la géolocalisation et la réalité augmentée. Elle s’annonce déjà comme un phénomène en tourisme.

Dans l’application, les Pokéstops sont associés à des lieux (monuments, places, édifices, etc.) qui se révèlent indispensables pour récupérer différents objets de jeu. La 12ème édition des Rencontres du e-tourisme c’est dans un mois ! Pour les hardcore gamers qui recherchent un restaurant à Pau proche d’un Pokéstop, on dit merci les Pages Jaunes qui ont rajouté un critère « Pokéstops à proximité » afin de filtrer les résultats !

Les institutionnels ne sont pas en reste puisque les Pokémons envahissent Apidae en permettant aux acteurs du réseau d’associer les fiches d’informations à des endroits stratégiques du jeu : les fameux Pokéstops et bien sûr les arènes de combat Pokémons. Reste à savoir dans la prochaine étape comment la donnée sera concrètement exploitée sur les sites de destination…
